Description

Serviceberry grows as a large shrub, or small tree.  It produces berries that ripen to a purple color in June. The berries are edible and can be eaten raw or made into jams. It is also a great food source for mammals and birds.  Native to the United States, they are fairly easy to grow.  Also known as Juneberry.
