Nikko Blue Big leaf  Hydrangea Hydrangea Macrophylla  Z5-9 H4-5' W 4-5'  Free blooming blue globe shaped flowers. Blooms July to August. Sun or partial shade. Color is bluest if given lots of acid fertilizer otherwise the flowers tend to be pink. Nikko Blue Hydrangea normally bloom on last years wood so care should be taken to protect from extreme cold. Makes great dried flower arrangement
