Turkish fir are growing in popularity as an ornamental and as a Christmas tree.This is a medium growing fir that is native to Northwestern Turkey. As with most exotic firs plant only away from frost pockets but it is hardy to -30 F. Will grow on south slopes and dryer ground. This is quite possibly the next big fir for Christmas tree growers.
